ABOUT THE COURSE: This is a true beginner's progressive course with each week building on the prior week's foundation and knowledge.
February 28, 2024 at 5:00 pm is Class 1: The Fundamentals of Breath, Movement and Standing Postures
March 7, 2025 at 5:00 pm is Class 2: Strength And Integrity in Your Core
March 14, 2024 at 5:00 pm is Class 3: Mobilizing Your Spine with Twists and Putting it All Together!

INTENSITY LEVEL:
This course is designed with beginners in mind. However, it's important to recognize that every beginner is unique, with different bodies, conditioning levels, strengths, and flexibilities. To be honest, it's impossible to predict the exact intensity or demands of these classes for you.
Emily will assist you in finding the intensity that works perfectly for YOU. While you will certainly move and engage in this course, here are two truths to keep in mind:

1: If you're eager for a more intense experience, you'll have the chance to explore that in your ongoing yoga journey (and this course lays the foundation for it).
2: For those who prefer a gentler approach, Emily has you covered with plenty of modifications and strategies. She will help you take it at your own pace. Remember, this is YOUR yoga journey, and we'll make it uniquely yours.

WEAR: No need to rush to Lululemon—unless, of course, you're looking for a reason to treat yourself! Keep it simple and wear anything you feel comfortable exercising in. Adding an extra layer is a great idea in case you feel a bit cool at the beginning or end of the class.
