The translation of yoga nidra is translated as "yogic sleep." Guided by a teacher's voice, you identify sensations throughout your body and focus on your breath, while remaining in a state of relaxed awareness so that you may release deeply held tensions, some of which you may not even be aware.

Megan Moss Freeman is on a clear mission to bring more stillness and freedom into our lives. Cultivating safe and nurturing spaces for people to slowly and lovingly peel back their layers is of utmost importance to her. She encourages freedom of spirit, creativity and looking inward for the answers. She can also be pretty silly and loves a good time.
Yin Yoga and Meditation are the focal points of her offerings as she is passionate about their ability to help with stress and trauma. She offers tools for practitioners to weave into their daily lives to come into a more balanced state of being. She has been teaching yoga for over a decade and you can find her leading trainings, workshops, classes and retreats at www.themosscollective.org. Megan currently resides in Northampton, MA with her young daughter and elderly cat.
Paul Grilley, Joe Barnett, Biff Mithoefer, Max Strom, Gil Hedley and Thomas Droge are among her most influential teachers that she has had the fortune to study with. Continuing her education through further study is a non-negotiable, immensely pleasurable part of her life.

Through yoga, meditation, journaling and essential oils we will learn to experience our emotions without resistance... whether it's pain, pleasure, fear or joy. Let’s hit the pause button, creating quiet time to reconnect with ourselves. This slow flowing yoga class intersperses reflection, group discussion, quiet moments of meditation, journaling and aromatic oils to enliven the senses, creativity and equanimity. Open to all levels and abilities. Materials will be provided, but if you have a special journal, feel free to bring it with you.
